Margaret Bonnington
During the 90’s Margaret Bonnington studied at Les Ateliers du Beaucet in France for a Diploma in traditional methods of fresco painting, water gilding & plaster/marble restoration. Later, she worked for a restoration team restoring frescoes in a 14thC church in France. Further study was completed at the Atelier de Restauration in Avignon, focusing on gilding & egg tempera medium. She restores works on paper, gilded frames and other artifacts.
She has exhibited in New Zealand and overseas galleries for 20 years and has won numerous art awards.
Born in New Zealand, Margaret commenced painting in the mid eighties. She later worked in Avignon restoring valuable pieces. Margaret exhibits in New Zealand and overseas galleries and has won numerous awards.

Jennifer Town
Jennifer brings a diverse set of skills to her art. She has a certificate of graphic design from the former Auckland Technical Institute. She also worked as a prop maker for the Australian Opera and as a scenic artist for the theatre and film industry for 25 years in Australia and in New Zealand. She works in a variety of media although her paintings are usually painted in acrylic on plywood.
Jennifer’s stamp paintings are reflective of her theatrical background in the way she adds drama and character to seemingly unspectacular surfaces.
