Sharyn Carter

Sharyn Carter has been taking photos for 18 years having travelled to 45 countries; always returning home to New Zealand. During this time, she has developed a keen eye for nature and abstract photography as well as capturing people's lifestyles and the manner in which they interact with their surroundings.

 

Images for Art presented Sharyn's photos recently in the Breathing Space exhibition as part of the 2011 Auckland Festival of Photography and is currently exhibiting at the Photographers Gallery in Hawkes Bay. Her art has also been printed in the esteemed Photographic Society of New Zealand Camera 2012 book.
