Claire Dargaville

Born and raised on the Shore, Clare attended St Joseph’s Primary, Carmel College and AUT (Graphic Design), Auckland University and Auckland Teachers’ College. After nearly a decade teaching secondary school art, Clare decided to concentrate on her won work. She has won numerous awards, the most recent being ‘Outstanding Artist, Royal Easter Show’, 2009 and again in 2011. Clare uses vivid colours and dramatic lights, covering a wide range of subjects and mediums.
