Nan Norris

My background is one of teaching (Art History and French), bringing up a family and now enjoying many grandchildren. For decades I have been interested in things botanical, our native bush and flora, and the rich patterns of nature.


Having never had a formal art training, I was keen in recent years to participate in workshops. I have been lucky to be taught and inspired by artists including Barbara Templeton, Tracey Williams, Carole Shepheard, Anthea Boesberg , Susan Hurrell-Fieldes and Glen Skien.


I love exploring colour and working in water colour but have found the opportunities inherent in print-making particularly exciting and challenging. This is the first time I have ever exhibited.
