Sandra Dick

Sandra lives in Warkworth and is an emerging part-time artist and mother of three.  Having occasionally dabbled in acrylic painting for personal enjoyment over the years, in 2010 Sandra ventured more seriously into the medium of copper.  

 

Sandra is self-taught and is enjoying the unpredictable nature of creating wall-hung artworks with copper which are suitable for both indoor and outdoor display.  

 

At present Sandra’s work is predominantly reflective of local and native flora which suits her technique of utilising heat to produce a variety of colourations. Sandra has been invited to exhibit at a number of high profile art exhibitions and her work has proved to be very popular.  This is the second time she has exhibited at the Affair of the Heart.
