Julie Sillars

Julie brings a keenness for accuracy to her life-long passion for art. Throughout the years, her choice of medium has changed from fine pen to water colour and, more recently, the thrill of working with acrylic. As a result, she has become a successful landscape artist with an eye for colour and detail which reflects Native New Zealand. Julie studied art at the Whitecliffe Art School and as a private student. This has enabled her to glean great knowledge from other talented New Zealand artists.

Alisha Thomas

Alisha is a Northcote graduate who recently completed a Bachelor of Communications Degree at AUT. She has a passion for paint and particularly enjoys capturing people and their movements. She hopes that with her degree completed she will be able to become more absorbed in her artwork. Alisha entered Affair of the Heart in 2009 and she found the whole experience of selling a painting very enjoyable.
