Lisa Bindon

Lisa Bindon lives in Matakana, and has been painting as long as she can remember. She has been professionally involved in art for the past 10 years.

 

Her style is constantly changing, and her latest works feature ‘Larger than Life’ ladies, stylised buildings, native birds, and tikis. She paints predominantly with strong vibrant colours, often highlighted by underlying texture and high gloss resin. She has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions, with great success in fundraising exhibitions such as ‘Artfusion’, and the ‘Great Summer Art Exhibition’.


Although she is a self– taught artist with no formal training, Lisa believes that the best way to learn is by experimenting and constantly trying new ideas, materials and techniques. Lisa loves art and hopes it is a passion she can pass on to her 3 children.
Her paintings are available from her home studio near Matakana.
