Peter Viesnik

Colour and form are the most intriguing aspects for my working with this fluid medium. From the glowing heat of the furnace and the molten flow of the glass, swelling forms and intricate combinations result, murrines and the lustre of dichroic glass combined with both cool and hot colours provide ever changing new variations on themes to be explored. As a glassblower I follow centuries of dedicated glass artists and endeavour to add my own contribution to this magical and versatile medium.
