Jan Hart

Jan has worked as an artist most of her life using many mediums over the years including oil, acrylic, watercolour as well airbrushing with dyes and inks. Her colourful and vibrant paintings hang in private and corporate collections both here and overseas. 

 

Presently Jan is experiencing great success with her oil pastel works which sometimes incorporate gouache or acrylic. At time she pushes the oil pastel medium to the limits whilst exploring new ways to use express her love of oil pastels.  The techniques used change according to the mood and subject of the painting. Jan is also exhibiting pen and wash as well as acrylic.

 

Jan exhibits widely in group and solo exhibitions and galleries show her work. She has won many awards including first prize in the oil/acrylic section of the Royal Easter Show in 2008 with an oil pastel painting. 

 

Teaching and sharing her techniques with others are something Jan really enjoys.
